In the garden of Jesus
grows the luscious
fruit of the Spirit,
and there are many vines here
heavy laden with juicy grapes.
There are purple grapes that blush
with the color of His wounds.
There are white grapes that flow
with pure, untainted juice.
There are green grapes that snap and pop
on your tongue
like new wine in heaven.
In this garden
enough food to nourish
all the people of the world
freely grows,
and I pick enough food
to nourish me.
