In her garden,
With anticipation of his arrival,
Under her tree she waits.
But not impatiently,
For it is his love she awaits,
And knows it will be here someday.
And on that day the sun will shine,
The birds will sing like never before,
All creation will stop in amazement,
At the love they will share and adore.
Their hearts will be one,
Their bodies intertwined,
Their love never shunned,
Finally Peace of mind.
But until then,
They grow closer together,
Thru thick and thin,
No matter what the weather.
For it is she that he loves,
And his feelings are true.
Only one thing to say:
I LOVE YOU.

Her GardenThis is a piece I wrote in memory of a friend I took care of in her home for four years prior to her death. She loved nothing more then to work in her beautiful garden,

It's almost EDENic. Nice.
Another beautiful poem
Ken, you have left me completely speechless. You touched my inner being on a level that you will never know! Crying many times for each of your lines. Finally smiling when the anticipation and hope came back again, leaving inspiration that one day after the time invested I might hear those words. Things have been extremely tough lately, and things seem sometimes that I am fighting an unevitable battle that was never meant to be. Your poem today encouraged me to keep going and keep waiting. After all, if it is not meant to be, at least I will never have any regrets that I didn't give it my all. Thank you on a deeper level than words could ever explain for opening my eyes today and putting me back on track. Your writings always touch me personally. This one might have just set me free from the main problems of the week.
