In the doctor's waiting room,
I catch up on the news.
Roosevelt beat Hoover,
And they're legalizing booze?
I catch up on the news.
Roosevelt beat Hoover,
And they're legalizing booze?
Be still, says I, my beating heart.
It's too much to digest.
The Giants beat the Senators;
I think I'll skip the rest.
I should not read these magazines,
They make my pulse run fast.
But France's Maginot Line, now,
That's really built to last.
Prosperity, I see, is just around the bend.
So, I guess, I've finally read enough.
Much wiser, I await the chance
To turn my head and cough.

Good one!
Ha!
The magazines really are old in some waiting rooms. I don't mind occasionally reading 40 year old National Geographicals though. They can be interesting.
LOL!!!
Reminds me that I've been meaning to drop off my recent magazines to our chiropractor's office....
Well done.
