From the lives you've touched,
To the joy you brought,
To a battle you endoured,
A battle hard fought.
Your life was taken,
and though through great pain,
you gave it right back,
so others can live again.
I've come to learn in life,
that true warriors do die,
but sometimes I sit and wonder,
And often ask myself why.
Though you made your mark,
you were left with little time,
so young at age,
so much more left to shine.
It would be easy to forget,
Id rather that be never,
Your gone with us in body,
But in mind, you stay forever.
As it is goodbye for now,
we shall meet later in time,
though I only wish,
I wish I could rewind.
