In Memory of Steve Irwin

Mr. Chip's
He came as a stellar flash
then the Crocodile Hunter
was gone.

And whether you followed
him for a lifetime or you
were just a part-time
fan.

He left his mark on your heart
and your soul.

Many that knew nothing of him
and others that were critical
of him.

Scratch their heads and can't figure
out how he was so loved.

And the worse part of all is not that
he died but the loss of him to those
that couldn't or wouldn't understand.

He's been with the Lord for some time really missed by us all. And as a former Air Force cop stationed near Eglin AFB the area of the prestigous "Jackson Guard" and also the Hurlburt Field and Duke Fld the universe for USAF SPECIAL OPS COMMAND & SOW UNIVERSITY we still owe Steve in a posthumous manner. For it was he that got rid of some really deadly and dangerous varmints(snakes-spiders-bugs etc) for the Army Rangers, Special Forces and so on. So send the awards and Decs. to Terry and Bindi and I am sure they would appreciate it. I know I will.

former SSGT USAF SECURITY FORCES SP & 919th SOG
