In Rebuttal to Yahoo Bashing

What business owner in their right mind, would consent to employing as many employees as the loudest screamers in a crowd demanded? A fact: If you want a business to be done your way. Put up or shut up. Go into business yourself and prove your point. Get it out of your system or make a fortune with your ideas.

In order for a business to make a worthwhile profit, it must provide a product or products at a price, that can be sold for a profit. Anyone, that overlooks this basic principle of business, may need a lot of cash to delay the eventual going out of business sale.

In addition, a product or products must be provided at a price, that people will and can buy. With daily surprises in a fluctuating economy, even experts, that are good in math, can take a tumble. In other words, be prepared for the worst, if this is possible.

Name calling can at least in the short run, hinder the popularity of a company to some degree, but is it worth it? What one sows, one may also reap.

What happened to the innocent until proven guilty philosophy? Quick to condemn people may find themselves to be slow learners, as the pages of life are revealed.

Lay offs may lead to good long term employment in the future, if rehiring prevails at a future time. Without short term lay offs, some companies might not even exist, when the economy is showing great strides of improvement.

Belittling a company because their profit doesn't equal that of an empire giant, suggests ego slapping. In reality, almost any company, that is showing a profit worth counting in tough economic times, has bragging rights, as opposed to those that are losing money.

Many Americans, including the author of this article, is without full scale employment at the time of the writing of this article. This article was not written as a slap back at criticizers of Yahoo, but with the intention of gathering our thoughts, and providing better tomorrows for our country and the world.
