In Silence

Coral Levang

The pain you offer
And I do not
Utter a word.

In silence I keep
My deepest thoughts
Locked inside
With no escape.

What you believe
Is true.

In silence I yearn
For the day
When I have the courage
To speak my truth.

I love this. I read it several times. Sometimes silence on my part is best -- sometimes it keeps me from being where I should be! Well done! :)

Obviously you learned from the same school as I. It is easier than confontation, unless it is something I feel strongly about. Happy Valentine's Day!
