I listen close, I've made a choice
To follow you so I can see
What matters most, what has to be
In the stillness I'm tempted by
The world and all below the sky
You've given strength and love for free
And lifting up, you carry me
In the stillness I feel the pain
Of those who understand the gain
That loving us you freely do
As I proceed because of you
In the stillness I see a light
That helps me realize what's right
To share your love with other's how
They, then, can share with others now
In the stillness I hope and pray
The others seek and find their way
To boundless love in all you do
And help them come to know what's true
"In The Stillness" is a poem about acceptance, temptation, love and pain, evangelism and truth!
