The sound quality is great, the photo quality looks like something I can take with my expensive digital camera, and the sound quality of the MP3 player us awesome. Which of course saves the need to carry around two devices. The menus are easily maneuverable, and very user friendly, once you get used to the fact that it doesn't work like every single Motorola out there. I also have the optional Bluetooth Headphones that allow for listening of the MP3s wirelessly. The sound quality there is also great.
I am almost embarrassed to say, but it is a sturdy phone as well. The first night I had it I set it on top of the refrigerator while making dinner, and forgot it was there. Later, I opened the refrigerator door, and caught the edge of the phone, sending it crashing to the tiled floor. The battery backing fell off, and I was certain I had ruined my new phone. Upon closer examination, there wasn't a scratch on it, nor did it affect the operation of the phone in any way. I simply had to put the battery cover back on, and it was as if nothing ever happened.
I compared it to my husbands Razr v3xx. I prefer the SYNC. Not only does it feel lighter to me, it also has a slightly larger display screen, and honestly I like some of the tools and applications better. Actually my husband who has been a devout Razr owner since its creation, and has had just about every version available, is considering switching to the SYNC as well.
If I had to complain about anything, it would be the fact that the USB cable doesn't come with the phone and must be purchased as an accessory. I think every phone I have ever bought that can interface with a computer has come with the USB cable. So I was a little disappointed by this, since in order to put music on the phone, a cable comes in handy. The other thing I am not crazy about it the fact that in order to plug it into the charger, there is a little "door" that must be popped open. It is such a small area and the plastic is so lightweight, I can see this thing snapping off easily, and I am not too keen on that.
Overall, I would highly recommend this phone to anyone who is looking to upgrade, especially if you aren't on the Razr bandwagon, but would like some of the nicer features it has.
