We sadly bid a farewell this year to another iconic brunette, Elizabeth Taylor, and it's impossible not to think also of the movie queen.

Her onscreen affair with the married Welch actor, Richard Burton, became a hurricane of gossip and spawned the culture of paparazzi. Liz exploded her glamorous image as a middle aged drunk, in "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolff?"
She accepted a formidable collection of jewelry and promoted her own perfumes.
