Increase Business by Sending Christmas Packages to Your Customers

Customers need to be reminded of your business sometimes. Your customers get busy in the daily life, just like you do, and may forget about your business. They need to be reminded and treated once in a while. Here are some ideas to send packages to your customers for the holidays.

CREATE A CUSTOMER LIST: The first thing you should do is create a customer list. You want most all of the customers that have been to your business in the past 2 or 3 years to be on this list. Some customers that may not have been to your business in 2 or 3 years may have simply forgotten about the business. If they receive a package in the mail for Christmas from your business they may be likely to start returning. If you do not have addresses for the customers, you can look them up in the phone book or on the internet.

CREATE A PACKAGE: Simply create a small package with some gift certificates for your business, maybe a magazine about your business, or some brochures for your business. You could include a Christmas card wishing them well during the holidays and in the New Year. You could place some business cards in there as well. An excellent idea is to place a calendar with your businesses name on it in the gift package. A calendar with your company's name on it will be the gift that will give all year long and remind your customers of your business all year long as it hangs on their wall.

The package doesn't have to be huge, but be sure to give them a small token of appreciation, make it thoughtful, like a coupon or gift certificate to use at your place of business. For example, if you own a restaurant you could give them a gift certificate for 2 free lunches or a buy one get one free coupon for dinner. This will draw more business in during those times. Be specific to your slow times, for instance, if you are slower during lunch, use the 2 free lunches idea. Use these holiday packages to your advantage. By giving them a gift such as these, they will be more likely to return to your business, and possibly spend some extra money while they are there.

SEND YOUR PACKAGES: The last thing you will need to do is place the packages in a small box or large envelope and send them out. Decorate them nicely to look like a Christmas package if you wish. Make them look festive and inviting for the holidays. These wonderful packages will be an excellent invite and excellent way for your long lost customers to remember you in the up and coming year.
