Increase EBook Sales With Bonuses

How to Add Value to Your EBook

Jessica Bosari
EBook selling is a growing ecommerce niche but enticing buyers takes more than just writing and offering an eBook for sale. Bonuses are one way to increase eBook sales to take better advantage of this market. Two books on the same topic will have a great disparity in sales numbers if one book offers bonuses and the other does not.

Internet buyers are well informed. They know that what can be had on one site is usually available cheaper at another site. Bonuses give you a way to add value to your sales price, keeping potential buyers attracted to your eBook. These bonuses can also support your eBook by adding credibility.

Buyer Concerns

The biggest concern for Internet shoppers comes from the various scams that are found online. How can a potential buyer know that your eBook will deliver what it promises? Buyers want to know their money will not be wasted. If you add something free to the eBook, buyers are likely to feel better about taking a chance, since they are getting something free as well.

Bonuses to Add

The types of bonuses you can add include videos, market reports, or other eBooks. You can add audio bonuses, software or other digital produces. To create these bonuses, it is vital to choose a cost effective method. This means finding material that can be distributed for free.

Bonus EBooks

A Google search for free eBooks in your niche will turn up many free eBooks that you can add as a bonus. It is important to read permission statements to be sure you are allowed to share the free eBook. If it is free to share, but not sell, make sure it is sent separately from your eBook, not bundled in.

Bonus Articles

Article directories also offer source material for bonuses. A search like the one you perform on Google will turn up free articles on similar topics as your eBook, often from experts in the field. In most cases, you only need to keep the author's information intact redistribute the material. The most popular site for such content is ezine articles.

Be sure the bonuses you offer are of high quality and that they provide truly useful information. If you simply throw on articles or eBooks that are questionable or low quality, your audience will believe your eBook is of that same quality and usefulness. By choosing high-quality bonuses, you show your audience that you know what you are talking about when it comes to the niche for which you are writing the eBook.

If you can learn e-Books, you may also want to consider white papers. I have not tried them myself yet, but I understand they do well. Just google how to write white papers and you will find great information. Take care! Jess
