We've all tried to clean out our closets at times in an attempt to organize and clean out clutter, but it never fails that a month later they quickly get stuffed with all types of items again. It is a futile cycle that can be very frustrating. With a closet system in place this problem can finally be eliminated once and for all.
A closet system contains a variety of shelves, storage compartments and hanger rods that store everything from clothes to shoes and just about anything else you can think of. You have the control to set up a design that fits the size of each closet in your home. You can simply take the measurements of your closet and take them with you to an interior design store or other stores such as Home Depot and find the solution that best fits your needs.
My wife found exactly what she needed and I was able to install the new closet system within a few hours that weekend. They are extremely easy to install. We immediately started filling the storage racks with shoes and the shelves were able to hold all of our sweaters, jeans, and exercise clothes. The hanging rods give us plenty of room to hang all of our dress clothes, and the storage bins have come in handy for storing hats, gloves and other items. Finally, everything is in order and not laying out all over the floor in the closet.
After we finished with the bedroom closet we decided to get a system for our linen closet as well. We were both amazed at how much extra room we were able to obtain after installing the closet system. It really made a big difference. They even have storage systems for the garage, although we haven't tackled that area of the house yet.
I believe the big key in buying any closet system is in the quality of the system. Yes, you can purchase a cheap system made mostly of plastic, but you will get what you pay for. I have a good friend who went in that direction and later regretted it because it simply started to fall apart in a few short weeks. You need to look for materials that are strong and sturdy. Remember, you will have quite a bit of weight on the shelves and hanging rods. If you have a flimsy set up you are just asking for things to fall apart on you.
So, if you are at your wits end with the lack of storage space in your home, consider installing a good quality closet system. It can give you that additional space you desire and help you keep everything much better organized as well.
