Increase Metabolism, Lose Weight, and Eat What You Want

Increasing your metabolism is a great way to burn fat faster. And you'll lose weight if your metabolism is increased while you're also decreasing your calories to the point where you're taking in less than your body is burning..

You'll still be able to eat the foods you like, as long as you don't overdo the high-calorie and high-carb or fattening foods.

The way lose weight this way is to increase your metabolism by spreading our your meals into small snacks throughout the day, at regular intervals.

You should consult your doctor before starting any diet plan.

Lose Weight by snacking all day

I don't mean snacking on cookies and chips.

I mean have little balanced meals throughout the day, every two and a half to three hours. This way, your body will be convinced it's always going to get food at relatively short intervals, and will start ramping up your metabolism to burn calories faster.

These snacks should be small, no bigger than the size of your fist. You will have to make a guess as the actual amount you eat. Just try to imagine how much of the food would fit into something the size of your fist. You might want to use a small cup or bowl that you think is about the right size, like a small child's bowl. Then have five of these snacks every day, six at the most.

Eat as soon as you get up

Eat one of your meals within a half-hour of getting up. The more you eat at the beginning of the day, and less at night, the more calories your body will burn throughout the day. Try to make your snacks as balanced as possible, with a combination of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. It's not always possible, with meals this size, but try your best. At the very least, alternate carbs and proteins.

Drink a full glass of water before each snack. This will help keep you full, because this method usually results in a reduction of calories. You may feel unsatisfied the first couple of days, but after a couple of days this wears off, and you might even reach a point where you feel like you want to skip a snack. But don't do it, make sure you eat your snack at least every three hours, or you will lose the fast metabolism benefits you've gained.

It's ok to eat junk food too, or food heavy in calories, as long as you don't do it all the time, and as long as you stick to the small sized portions.. But if you really want eat something -- just do it. It will prevent binging or going off the diet.
