A few years ago, I was introduced to the miracle berry known as Goji berry or wolfberry, which is originated in Asia and certain parts of Europe. Oddly enough, it is a part of the potato, eggplant, and tomato family. (Resource: Wikipedia.com) Within the past several years, the popularity of Goji berries have sky-rocketed. It's popularity has sparked many distributors cropping up to sell this juice by the bottle and also peak the interest of the buyers to become sellers as well. Regardless of all that, Goji berries are proving to be an excellent berry providing many health benefits that range from lowering cholesterol and regulating blood sugar to improving digestion. One of the benefits I found most helpful was the energy level I experienced after drinking over an extended period of time. It has been found to help with fatigue, stamina, and endurance of exercise. (Resource: Genesistoday.com) The pure Goji juice isn't as hard to find now as it was when it first gained its commercial popularity here in the U.S. It can be found anywhere from health food stores to well-known grocery store chains in their organic and health food designated areas.

According to nutrition facts on the Goji juice products' labels, the recommended serving is one ounce per day for the best results. Taking more or less is up to the person using the juice for health purposes. You should talk with your holistic healthcare specialist or other healthcare specialist for more information on the perfect dosage for you.

Goji juice has a distinct flavor to it. It can not be mistaken for something else. It's an excellent taste. It's smooth. Of course, Goji berries are loaded with antioxidants and vitamin A, which helps with anti-aging and vitality. They've been eaten in Asia for thousands of years for health purposes before their popularity here in the states. (Resource: Webmd.com)

With all the proven health benefits of Goji berries, it is recommended that usage with certain traditional medicines for diabetes and blood pressure be avoided. (Resource: Webmd.com)

There are many ways to enjoy Goji berries. It is most often sold as a juice, but it can also be found at health food stores dried, like cranberries or even eaten raw. The raw version of Goji berries can easily be found on the Internet and probably in most health food stores, since it would be considered a specialty item.

The next time you feel a little sluggish give Goji berries a try.
