Incredible Experience at Longhorn Steakhouse

My family eats out all the time and in this day and age there a only a few good ones left.

Longhorn Steakhouse on Kendall Drive was one of them. The parking lot was clean and well lighted as we got there after dark. We walked into the restaurant and four staff members (the bartender, a server, the manager, and the host) all welcomed us immediately. That was a big surprise. This made us feel immediately like they wanted us to be there. As the host walked us to the table they told us the specials and soup of the day. The host was dressed in all black - very well dressed. It impressed us because normally the host is one of the least paid positions in the restaurant and here they were looking like a million bucks. Within literally seconds our server, Fatima, welcomed us and asked if it was our first time. It was our first time eating with Longhorn and she made us feel special as she spent a few minutes explaining the menu, specials, and longhorn cuts to us. Every person from the manager, to the host, to the server had an ironed crease on their sleeves. This was extraordinary. I would have taken a picture if I had a camera with us.

Just a few seconds after Fatima left the table the same manager came over and introduced himself to us and told us they were very happy to have a chance to serve us. He presented his card and told us he would ensure this would be a very special visit for our family. By this time I was floored as I haven't been exposed to such great service but a few times in Miami. Needless to say we felt like we were in a fine dining restaurant.

Our drinks came out fast and an appetizer came out immediately with the manager. He told us we want you to be wowed by the time you finish your meal today. It definitely wowed us. I had to go to the restroom and I was surprised to find hairspray, hair gel, hand lotion, mouth wash, and body spray neatly placed on a tray. I felt like we were at some fancy restaurant and didn't realize it. I told my wife to go check out the women's restroom just to see if the same was true in there. It was!!! This kind of attention to detail was why this restaurant was always busy. Miami is a very competitive market for restaurants and they were definitely at their best.

The restaurant was sparkling clean, the staff was absolutely a dream. The meal was picture perfect to the photos in the menus. The seasoning on the steaks beat out every other steakhouse we have ever been to and that includes numerous states across the nation. I was so impressed with the food I took home the left overs and I never take the left overs home. It was an experience like no other I had had in Miami.

When we left it was the same experience - many members of the staff told us goodbye and invited us to come back again. That is well worth our money.
I suggest you give Longhorn Steakhouse in your city a try or on Kendall if you are in Miami in the near future. If you get the kind of service and food that we got it will be your new favorite soon!

It far exceeded our expectations, made us feel like the entire restaurant was at our service, and we knew they appreciated our business. I wish other restaurant chains could learn from this Longhorn how to treat their customers.
