The Book Rack

The Book Rack is located at 3990 Government Boulevard in West Mobile. We love this small storefront bookstore because the used book section is extensively and the cheapest in Mobile. The Book Rack is neatly organized and has a helpful staff that seems to know what you need even when you only have a partial title. You can visit the Book Rack on Facebook or their website here. While there are several independent Book Racks they are all independently operated with unique fixtures and their own layouts.

Meg's Books & More

Located on busy Highway 98, Meg's Books is a fun, treasure hunt type store that has neatly lined shelves of books and tons of other goodies. Located at 6950 Moffett Road their phone number is 649-0100. A good plunderer can find first edition and rare books among the multiple shelves of this exciting store. Antiques, rare finds, old records and even vintage clothing are all stored away inside Megs. Outside the store and to the right you will find a second building of neat finds. Prices are never as they seem and negotiating is welcome. Visit Meg's store when you have a whole afternoon to kill. This store has a very large second hand children's book section.
