Southwest Florida, most particularly Fort Myers, Florida has a number of restaurants to choose from but when it comes to subs I do not recommend Subway or even Publix. Instead, I recommend Jersey Mike's Subs, the only place to go for a sandwich that will meet and exceed your wildest expectations. The Food

Jersey Mike's Subs of Fort Myers, Florida has the most delicious food. You can get subs in three sizes: small (3.5 inches), regular (7 inches), and large (14 inches!) Each of these subs are made fresh right in front of your eyes. The employees select the meat and slice it. Nothing, except for the bread, which is baked fresh regularly throughout the day, is prepared ahead of time. The tomatoes are sliced right before your eyes as well. The meat quality is outstanding. Because of its delivery, I have never had a better sub in my entire life. Jersey Mike's Subs meet freshness exceeds even the hardest of critics' imaginations. The cheese quality is equally outstanding. I have never tasted deli cheese so good in my life. It is fresh and stored at the perfect temperatures. The bread, which I said earlier is fresh, comes in only one or two options but no matter which you pick, it is the best deli bread you will ever have. One final note on the food must be made. Jersey Mike's Subs offers an option: Mike's Way. This is a blend of spices and other condiments that exceeds every possible sub toppings. I highly suggest trying this the first time you go!

Service

The service at the Fort Myers Jersey Mike's Subs is incredible. The staff remembers your face after just a few visits and your name after a few more. I have been helped by all their employees and have not received a single reason to deduct them from their service. Each employee had a total command of the sub sandwich and new how to prepare it like a professional!

Atmosphere

Jersey Mike's Subs' atmosphere is incredible. The wall décor makes you feel as though you have just stepped off a subway in New Jersey and are exploring the local scenery. You truly feel as though you have stepped into a world outside of Southwest Florida. This is one of the few restaurants that truly can claim to capture the feel of the Northeastern United States.

Alcohol

Unfortunately, there is no alcohol at Jersey Mike's Subs but there are a variety of Pepsi products.

Overall and Conclusion

Jersey Mike's Subs has one of the friendliest staffs that serve the best food when it comes to subs in Fort Myers, Florida. I highly suggest spending an afternoon lunch or early dinner trying one of their varieties of subs or get creative and customize your own.
