Indian Fast Bowler Sreesanth Diagnosed with Swine Flu

Raj
Indian Cricketer and fast bowler Sreesanth, who was a key contributor to India defeating Sri Lanka in the test series this month, has been diagnosed with Swine Flu. Indian news media are reporting that Sreesanth was brought into Chandigarh hospital with cough, sore throat and fever. The hospital tested him for Swine Flu. The tests reportedly came back positive.

This is bad news for India, and Indian Cricket fans. The Indian Cricket team may end up missing the aggressive swing bowling of Sreesanth in the coming week. He is already missed in the Twenty20's played this week. Indian Cricket team can only hope that Sreesanth will recover fast, before the 5 match ODI series, which starts on December 15th.

While Indian batsmen, headed by Sehwag and Gambhir, are in great form for the upcoming One Day Series against Sri Lanka, it is the Indian bowling that lacks penetration. Sri Lanka will definitely have an upper hand if Sreesanth doesn't recover in time.

Millions of Indian Cricketing fans will be praying for Sreesanth's speedy and timely recovery.
