Indiana Jones 4 Trailer Revealed

One of my all-time favorite movie trilogies is the Indiana Jones movies. I know that there are many people out there who didn't care much for "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" or even "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade," but in my eyes, all three movies were terrific.

For that reason, I have been doubly excited for the new Indiana Jones movie than most. It surprises me, actually, how little hype this movie seems to be getting. The movie is just over three months away, yet no one seems to be interested or excited. "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" may not be as good as the previous three movies, but a fourth movie has been long overdue and I for one am elated to see Harrison Ford back with a fedora.

From here on out, there are minor plot spoilers for the fourth movie so readers beware. I first saw this trailer a couple weeks ago and figured that this would be old news. But after searching for an article on the trailer on AC and coming up empty-handed, I figured I might as well post it myself. Another sign, perhaps, of the lack of interest in this movie.

Anyways the link to the trailer is here;

One thing I immediately noticed from the trailer was that Indy seemed to be fighting in a familiar storage warehouse. The same warehouse that he stored the Arc at the end of the first movie. With the added information that Karen Allen is set to return in "The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," it seems as if Spielberg is going to connect this sequel with the first movie.

Another thing to point out is the presence of Shia LeBeouf. I've heard rumors that, if the film were to do well, there was a possibility of future movies featuring him in the central role as the "new" Indiana Jones. No offense to LeBeouf, but I don't see it. If Harrison Ford is done with the movies, the franchise should end.

And on a final note, I hope the trailer contained all of the references to Indiana's advanced age in the movie. It really would hurt the plot of the movie overall for Harrison to be moaning about how old he is the entire time.

Anyways, enjoy the clip and get psyched, "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" is due to be out May 22nd, 2008!
