The official Indiana unenployment uplink website had information posted on the official website on Saturday but you may have missed it if you didn't happen to check. The information said the website would be down for maintenance on Sunday, Dec. 13th from 3am-Noon.
Unemployed Hoosiers woke up expecting to file for unemployment in the state of Indiana but many were surprised that the website doesn't even pop up if you put in the URL. Google Hot Trends has search terms like "uplink.in.gov", "Indiana unemployment" and "in.gov dwd uplink" climbing up the charts as many Hoosiers try to find out the exact information and why the Indiana Unemployment website is down or even unavailable. When I read the statement last night on the Indiana Uplink Unemployment site it said the maintenance would last from 3am-Noon. So you can expect to file your unemployment claim sometime after noon today.
From what I've learned, the longer it takes one to file unemployment on the website the longer it typically takes to receive it. My guess is since everyone will be filing for Indiana Unemployment during the same window then those who file in the Noon hour will still get their benefits early on Monday. That's just a guess.
Search terms like "Indiana unemployment", "uplink.in.gov" and "In.gov dwd uplink" will still rank high on the google search trends as many Hoosiers find out that the Indiana Unemployment Uplink website is down for maintenance.

Post a CommentThe system is down again for maintenance (Jan 2). This is unbelievable! Is there a reason they don't do updates overnight on Saturday? That would make the most sense.
ONCE AGAIN the website is down TODAY! SUNDAY 10/31/2010! Pushes us to file LATE and get PAID LATE and Ekection Day is Tuesday so it can be DAYS before were paid. WHY is this state so technologically STUPID AND BACKWARDS that it cannot get this ONE DAY PER WEEK of high-traffic on the website HANDLED?! This is NOT the first or second time, I have had this happen SEVERAL TIMES THIS YEAR! It's RIDICULOUS!
What about today, March 16, 2010? Appears the website is down again. Anyone know anything about that?
