Golden Coral, Applebees and Outback Locations Offer Deals for Military Members

Jan Corn
In honor of Veterans Day, there are many free Veterans Day specials and meals being offered across the country. Indianapolis is no exception, with Golden Corral and Applebees restaurants offering complete meals or free entrees or appetizers as part of Veterans Day meal specials.

Other businesses, including the Indianapolis Zoo and Home Depot are also offering great deals. Admission to the Indianapolis Zoo will be free and purchases at Home Depot will be 10 percent off the normal prices.

Free Veterans Day Meals and Specials at Applebees Indianapolis locations

Applebees is offering free entrees as part of their Veterans Day meal special. Proof of identification as a member, (active or retired) of the military service is required. The Indianapolis Veterans Day free meal special details can be seen here .

Entrees include the Chicken Tenders Platter, a Fire Pit Bacon Burger and other options. Valid identification includes a U.S Uniform Services Identifications Card, photograph in uniform, a Citation or Commendation and other forms of ID. Those details for the Applebees Veterans Day Free Meals Special can be seen at the main Applebees web site or links provided.

Free Indianapolis Veterans Day Meals and Specials at Golden Corral

None other than Gary Sinise, Bo Derek and Collective Soul appear in the PSA announcements for Golden Corral. Free Veterans Day meals will be offered in Indianapolis on November 16 from 5 until 9 pm. No identification is required. If you wonder who is eligible, it is any person who has served in the US Military, whether retirees, veterans or those on active duty. This is the 9th year that Golden Corral has offered this appreciative free meal deal to veterans in Indianapolis and other cities.

Unfortunately, if someone has to work that night there will be no rain checks offered. Also, family members who are not veterans or active duty members of the US Military do have to pay for their dinners. Even so, this is a great free meal deal for veterans and others in Indianapolis who have served or are on active duty in the US Military.

To find locations for Golden Corral, please look at the Golden Corral Restaurant Locator and you'll find an Indianapolis location, as well as typical dinner hours. Remember, this free Veterans Day meal deal is being offered from 5 until 9 pm on November 16 in Indianapolis.

Free Admission to the Indianapolis Zoo is a Veterans Day Special Deal

Members of the military are always admitted free to the Indianapolis Zoo on Veterans Day. Military ID is required. Members of the military can be active or required and are also admitted free on Memorial Day. This could be a great time to bring the entire family because non-military members get a 20% discount off normal admission prices and off season discounts are in effect. For more information, please check here for the Indianapolis Zoo Veterans Day Special .

Indianapolis Outback Locations for Veterans Day Special Meal Deals

Outback is offering a free Bloomin' Onion and beverage (and if you've ever had a Bloomin' Onion, you know how filling it can be). Outback Veterans Day Special can be seen at the Outback Steakhouse website as can the details for veteran and active duty identification.

We eat at Golden Corral at least one a month and a big reason (other than good food) is the honor they show our vets by doing this. My wife is a vet also and we have gone the last 4 yrs. We have dined with a lot of grerat vets.

Is the government doing all that it can for our veterans or would they just like for them to fight and then disappear?

I see I'm late for dinner ;-) I hope our veterans were able to enjoy a well deserved outing at one of these locations. Excellent report, Jan.
