Indigestion is like a Frozen Computer

Why Our Digestive System is like a Computer

Kay Pierre
I learned something very powerful today and it's the correlation between the way a computer works and the way our digestive system work. My computer froze today and I couldn't move the mouse arrow. I was very frustrated and think that my computer needs to be fixed but I was wrong. After I waited about 15 minutes and turn it back on the computer was good to go. I learned that I have over worked my computer with too many files and it's unable to digest the work load just like when we over consume food, our body will slow down and freeze like the computer and it won't be able to digest until we allow it to cool down. I was very happy to make this observation but it could be an old one.

I was working my computer very hard and uploading tons of files and all of the sudden it was frozen and I couldn't move the mouse. I kept turning it on and off and on and off for as much as ten times but it still wouldn't work. I went and call the computer company and they say that I need to send it in for repair. I'm glad I didn't pay them $400 to repair my computer because there was nothing wrong with it. I just needed to let my laptop cool down.

I learned a very important lesson today that we can save more money by being more patient and trouble shooting our problem than visiting a professional the second something stops working. This can be applying to our health. We might feel very weak and think that we need to spend thousands on a doctor visit when the problem could be that we are tired because we over eat and our stomach is having indigestion problem and making us feel tire and nauseated. We could take some time and cool down and see how we'll feel two hours later instead of panicking. Some situation like heart problem we do need to take action fast though but I observed it with myself that my indigestion problem is the reason why I feel horrible most of the time.

Our digestive system is no different than a computer engine because both systems do not know how to think. They only work in according with other signals. Just like we must command a computer we have to make command that will help our digestive system. We actually have to do things that can help our digestive system function better and faster just like a computer system so it won't slow down on us. We can do this by eating very small space out meal just like how you would only view one file at a time on your computer. The best advice I've heard on using computer is take is slow on your computer. We should do the same with our digestive system. We should take it slow.
