The iNeed Lumbar Massage Pillow comes in four colors: black, blue, brown, and red. It is so small that you could attach it to your chair at work without anyone noticing. The pillow has a strap that goes around the chair to keep it in place at all times. The massager is fairly quiet and does not make distracting sounds in the work environment.
There are four massaging balls inside in the pillow. They rotate in all directions to give you a kneading shiatsu massage on your lower back. There are several reasons you may develop pain in your lower back. Up to 90% of Americans will be affected by it at some time and after the common cold it is the highest reason for days missed at work. The iNeed can help to reduce lower back pain and make it more manageable.
The iNeed can be plugged into a wall outlet so it does not need any batteries. I find that the cord is rather short but that can easily be fixed with an extension cord. The product turns itself off after 20 minutes for "safety" purposes but it is easy to turn back on by pressing the large button.
It comes with its own carrying case so it is easy to bring back and forth to home and work or on vacation.
I like that this product not only massages by lower back but also adds support to my chair even when it is not on. I feel that I sit up straighter and have better posture when it is there.
I prefer this massager to the full chair ones because I believe it works deeper into the muscle than many other varieties. A lot of massagers just tickle me but this one really does the trick.
The cover on mine seems to be wearing out after using it for a full year and I cannot find replacement covers for it.
This product has proven to be very useful to me. Previously, I found that I had to stretch and walk around at least once an hour at work or my back would get uncomfortable. Now, I can just turn this device on and continue working until it is convenient for me to get up.
