Inexpensive Bridesmaids Gifts

Even though a wedding may be an expensive event, you'll still want to thank your bridesmaids for standing in your wedding and help make your day even more special. The bridesmaids sometimes spend hundreds of dollars on a dress for an event that doesn't even belong to them. They attend rehearsals and take time out of their busy lives to help you with your wedding. Although they do all of this out of the kindness of their hearts, they still deserve a little gift of appreciation from you, the bride for all their hard work. This act of kindness on your part does not have to be an expensive expenditure. Depending on your budget, this guide can help give you some inexpensive ideas.

Budget: $5/Bridesmaid

Pamper those feet gift:

Fuzzy, cozy socks $2

Single pack of foot soak $2

Bottle of nail polish (Wet 'n Wild) $1

This is a perfect gift for busy ladies because stress can crystallize in your feet. You'll need your bridesmaids refreshed and standing on comfy feet on your big day. Give them the gift of treating their feet to some much needed R&R. They'll thank you for it the next day. Wrap the gift in some nice tissue paper and present it to them during the rehearsal dinner.

Budget: $10/Bridesmaid

Hair Therapy:

Single application of hot oil treatment $1

Nice wooden brush with strong bristles that don't snag hair $6

Pretty jeweled barrette $3

Who doesn't love the look of healthy lustrous hair pulled back into a beautiful updo? The hot oil treatment comes in a variety of oils from olive to jojoba and more. They'll leave your bridesmaids' hair feeling soft and shining brilliantly. Natural wooden hair brushes are effective at taking out tangles and not collecting mildew on the brush. The hair accessory can be perfect for a wedding hairdo the day of your wedding and can be used for other occasions as well.

Budget: $15/Bridesmaid

Relaxing Bath:

CD on sounds of the ocean $10

Large Bath Bomb $3

Gel Eye Mask $2

Provide all the essentials for a relaxing soak in the tub. Your friends will be very appreciate of this nice gesture as they get to lay back, listen to sounds of the ocean and drift into full on relaxation mode. Replace the eye mask with a $2 candle if you wish.

Budget: $20/Bridesmaid

Gift Certificates

This one is the simplest to do, but doesn't always fit everyone's budget. Purchase a $20 gift certificate for each member of your bridal party. The gift certificate can be to a shoe store, the mall, a bath and body store, or a music warehouse. I strongly suggest NOT giving them gift certificates to places you are registered at like Target or Bed, Bath and Beyond. They might think you are insinuating to buy yourself more wedding gifts.

Budget: $25/Bridesmaid

Pedicure or Manicure

This is by far the most fun and lavish gift of all the budget sizes, and of course it is, being at $25/person! But if you have the money for it, this would really show your bridesmaids how much you appreciate them. Make a reservation at the local salon (In order to save on money, do not choose a Spa. Go for a regular nail place in town.) Tell the ladies to choose either a pedicure or a manicure and all get it done at the same time. Chat away, provide some soft drinks and enjoy yourself. An added bonus is that they usually come with free foot or hand massages!
