Inexpensive Christmas Stocking Stuffers for Grandma

Christmas stocking stuffers are fun to give and to open, but their costs can quickly add up. You don't have to give your grandma expensive gifts to show your love; many gifts can be unique, practical, and inexpensive too. Here are some inexpensive Christmas stocking stuffers for grandma:

Gardening gloves: Your grandma most probably likes to garden. What she may not like, however, is getting her hands calloused and dirty. Gardening gloves are a perfect gift for the grandma who gardens.

Nail care kit: A small nail care kit containing a file, nail clippers, and a pair of small scissors is bound to be used and appreciated by your grandma.

Travel size perfume: While your grandma may have many perfumes, she probably lacks the small perfume bottles that can be easily carried in her purse. Travel size perfumes are perfect for the grandma on-the-go.

Book reading light: A grandma who reads will appreciate a book reading light. Some book lights clip onto the book itself, thus freeing the hands for page turning or holding a cup of tea.

Phone card: Your grandma probably wishes that she could talk more on the phone to her grandsons and granddaughters. However, if she is on a fixed income, phone calls may be a luxury. A phone card takes care of the cost of those calls.

Photo calendar: Select some photos of your grandma, her siblings and family and of course the grandchildren. Publish these photos in a calendar for her to enjoy the whole year through.

Plush socks: Older individuals often have trouble with cold extremities like hands and feet. Help keep your grandma's toes warm by giving her a pair of plush socks.

Hand cream or lotion: Find a quality hand cream or lotion in a scent that your grandma enjoys. She will certainly appreciate this thoughtful gesture during the dry winter season.

Brooch or pin: A small brooch or pin that matches the color scheme of your grandma's coat or jacket is sure to be worn frequently.

Small photo frame: Find a small 2" x 3" photo frame and insert a picture of the grandchildren into it. The frame will be small enough for your grandma to take it with her and show off to her friends.

Coin purse: A grandma is notorious for keeping loose change in her purse for gumball machines, arcade games, and carnival rides. Give her someplace to put all this spare change with a coin purse.

Lace handkerchiefs: Lace handkerchiefs are a wonderful way to give a little bit of classic luxury to your grandma. You may even purchase handkerchiefs that are monogrammed with your grandma's initials.

Polished metal letter opener: For older individuals, arthritis and other diseases can make opening letters difficult. A letter opener is just the thing for a grandma who receives lots of mail.
