Beautiful and unique Christmas centerpieces can be fun, inexpensive and quite easy to make. Whether you are an experienced crafter or someone who just dabbles in do-it-yourself holiday projects these two Christmas centerpiece ideas are sure to bring lots of oh's and ah's from your guests.

Ornament Wreath - You will need a Styrofoam wreath which can be purchased in any arts and crafts store - size is up to you and can depend on the size of your table, shiny Christmas balls - inexpensive packages can be bought at your local dollar store and the colors should reflect the theme and color of your other decorations in the room and remember varying sizes are more exciting , tinfoil, glue gun, clear votive candle holders again which can be purchased at your local dollar or crafts store, tea light candles - the color scheme is up to you. Optional items may include small bows, artificial berries or poinsettias, jingle bells or any other small filler item. Cover the Styrofoam wreath completely in tinfoil. Don't work about wrinkles as most of the tinfoil will be covered. Do make sure to cover the sides of the wreath. With your glue gun arrange and glue your shiny Christmas balls in a random pattern around your wreath, covering the entire wreath . Larger balls should be used for your first layer. Double layer and even triple layer the balls around your wreath for added depth and shine. Place your filler items in any large gaps which look awkward but remember it is okay to leave small spaces where the tinfoil peeks through as this will help reflect light onto your Christmas balls. Place your clear votive candle holders with tea lights in the center of your Christmas centerpiece, light them and watch the sparkle and shine your unique Christmas centerpiece creates.

Gifts Galore Christmas Centerpiece - You will need random size boxes from tiny to small - size depends on how large you want your unique Christmas centerpiece to be. Great ideas for these boxes can be found by looking around your home. For example small teabag boxes, raisin boxes, toothpick boxes, you get the idea. You will also need assorted wrapping paper, ribbons, bows, tin cookie tray - which can be found in your local dollar store or supermarket, scotch tape, and glue gun. Optional items include jingle bells, small artificial berries or poinsettias, small candy canes or any other fun Christmas themed item. Cover your "gifts" in wrapping paper and bows or ribbons. Glue the wrapped gifts to your tin cookie tray. Start with one level and build up to several layers, staggering the way the boxes are placed on each other. Fill in any awkward gaps with your filler items and then stand back to admire your quick, easy and unique Christmas centerpiece.

I hope you enjoy these two fun and easy Christmas centerpiece ideas. Happy Holidays!
