Inexpensive Valentine's Day Gifts for Women that Say, "I Love You"

K-Mac
Everyone knows that Valentine's Day is a special day that is spent showing how much you love your significant other. Most people like to show this emotion by buying gifts or even by going out to dinner to celebrate the special day. There are many gifts that are pretty commonly bought by men on this holiday, those common gifts include: flowers, chocolate, and jewelry. Although it may be nice to get these gifts during the first couple of Valentine's Days most women get tired or bored of receiving the same thing year after year. It is not always about how much money one can spend on a gift, most women more about personal gifts. Women want to see that their husband or boyfriend actually spent time and put some thought into a gift. I am going to give list a handful of gifts that require hardly any money. While these gifts may be cheap and inexpensive, they do require some time and thought.

A Personalized Poem

This gift requires two physical items: some paper, preferably a decorative sheet of paper, and a pen. Those two items are usually laying around the house somewhere, which ultimately means you would not have to spend any money on this gift. There are two other items that are also required: time and thought. Most of us are not professional poets, and are not too good with words. But, at the same time, your wife or girlfriend is not going to care, and will love anything that you come up with. Now, for the poem to look good and to make a good gift put some effort into it. When I say effort I mean include in the poem things that mean something to the two of you such as: special moments in your life, vacations, past Valentine's Days, etc. Not all poems have to rhyme, so don't stress yourself out. Any woman would love to receive this type of gift, because it comes straight from the heart.

A Personalized Letter

This gift somewhat goes along with the previously mentioned gift, poem, because it requires the same things: paper, pen, thought, and time. I know it may sound cheesy, but this is often one of the best gifts that you can give, especially on this holiday, because you can express in words how much that special someone means to you. It is always nice to get a heartfelt letter from someone else, especially you significant other, I'll even admit I enjoy getting this type of gift. Feel free to put whatever you want into the letter, this should be very easy to do, just tell her how much she means to you and how much you love her, etc. But, do make sure that it is somewhat lengthy, no one wants to receive a letter that is three sentences long, because that shows you didn't spend much time or put much thought into it, and it could result in a very bad day!

A Personalized Gift Basket

Out of all of the gifts I mentioned this is the most expensive. But, it still should not cost anymore than 20 dollars, depending on what you decide to put into the basket. Some items that you could include: personalized mixed c.d. containing "your song" along with her other favorite songs, her favorite scented candles, bath soap, lotion, chocolates, other types of candy, flowers, perfume, lingerie, etc. Some of the items I just listed may not fit into your budget, but the things you can put into the basket are unlimited. You do not have to spend a lot of money for this gift to be special. Put some thought into the items you select, hopefully you know what your wife or girlfriend's favorite items are and should be able to incorporate them into the basket.

Hopefully, I have provided you with some special, inexpensive, and cheap gifts that you could give to your wife or girlfriend on Valentine's Day. Any woman would love to receive any of these gifts, because it shows that you are thoughtful and actually took the time to do something special for her. These gifts are also nice because you could do it every year and it would never get old!
