If you have kids, the larger and smaller cans make nice storage containers for crayons, markers, pencils, pens, scissors, glues, or anything. Each item can have their own separate can for more organized storing. Once the little ones are finished being artistic, put the items back into the can, put the lid on, and stack them neatly in a cupboard or closet. Label the outside of the cans so everyone knows what item is in what can. No more looking through drawers to find the little jagged scissors or the wavy scissors. Everything is there.
Having a party and using a punch bowl? Depending on the size of the punch bowl, use the appropriate size baby formula can. Make a small batch of punch the night before and pour the punch into the baby formula can(s). Set this in the freezer and allow it to freeze. Once it is frozen, dip the can in hot water until the ice block loosens up. Once it is loose, place the frozen punch into the punch bowl. Using frozen punch allows the punch to stay cold without it being watered down by plain ice. And if the punch is out all day, placing more frozen punch blocks into the punch will ensure that the punch stays cold the whole time without it becoming weaker.
Tired of all your daughters hair ties and scrunchies everywhere? Give her a can, have her decorate it herself, and she has her own storage container for all her hair items. Instead of laying all over the counters, spread through out the drawers, she has them all in one place that can be neatly stored under the sink or in a closet.
Trying to save for a special trip or special event? Or maybe one of your children is trying to save up for that special item they have been wanting. Take a can, either size, and decorate it in the theme of the special event or item. Cut a small slit in the lid. Once the lid is cut, superglue the lid onto the can. This will ensure that the money stays in the "bank" until enough money is saved without the borrowing temptations.
Do you have a gerbil, hamster, guinea pig, or any other small pet at home? Does there food get spilled out of the bag or get a little stale? Use the 20oz can and the formula scoop that comes with it. Pour the food inside the can, place the scoop on top, and put the lid on. You now have a convenient storage container with a feed scoop perfect for the small pet foods.
The small cans can also be used in the shop to store all sizes of nails, screws, nuts, bolts, etc. For easier finding, label the cans on the sides and the lids so that if you need a certain item, you can find it easily and quickly.
Do you collect box tops for education or Campbell Soup wrappers for your child's school? The cans make a neat an organized way to clip and store in a safe dry place. Once it's time for your child to take the box tops to school, you know where they all are at, all neatly stored. You will need a baggy or lunch bag, and just pour all the box tops out, place in your childs bag to take to school, and start all over again.
There are so many uses for these cans. There are some really obvious storage choices and some unique ideas. If you need something stored whether it is food or anything else, small or larger size, these cans can probably do the job. Save yourself a few dollars. Talk to someone that has a baby and if they are using formula, they probalby have so many cans that they wouldn't mind letting a friend get some use out of them.

I use my powder infant formula cans for a number of things. Especially for coins. Check out some of my content.
Great advice! We used ours to store lots of things. One thing we found that it worked great for is storing grease after frying food. Since you can't pour it down the drain you need to put it somewhere to let it harden and those cans work great. Unless you fry a LOT even a small can should last you for quite a while.
