I recently had the opportunity to try the Conair Infiniti Pro Spin Air Brush, a new hair styling tool that combines the features of a blow dryer and a round brush. In my experience, this product gave me salon-like results with very little effort. As an added bonus, it was actually fun to use.
Prep
There's very little prep needed before you use the Spin Air Brush. Hair should be damp (about 80% dry) and tangle- free, but the appliance doesn't need to heat up like a curling iron or hair straightener. You just plug it in and start styling.
Ease of Use
Right off the bat I loved the fact that you only need one hand to use this product. In contrast to a blow dryer and round brush combo-- which I have always found awkward and cumbersome--the Pro Spin Air Brush technique is much easier to master. Within minutes of trying the product I figured out the best ways to use its features and settings.
How it differs from other styling products and techniques
Unlike a regular blow dryer, this product has the added feature of a spin function. You press a button and the round brush begins to rotate, making it easy to add volume to your hair.
In the past, I've had the misfortune of getting a regular round brush stuck in my hair-- not fun. But with this product, because you press another button to retract the spinning, that won't ever happen.
Looks that can be achieved
I use this product mostly to add body and shine to my hair. But an added bonus is it really eliminates frizz, thus eliminating my need to use a hair straightener. I found that I can now style my hair at home and it looks just as good as a salon blowout.
Style Tips
I alternate between using the Low and High settings on the Spin Air Brush and I use the Spin feature to add body. To "lock in" my style I use the Cool setting at the end. My daughter, who has long hair and normally hates to use a blow dryer, also loves using this product. The Spin Air Brush helps to eliminate the frizz in her hair and helps to keep it tangle-free and pretty.
This product is really easy to use and now my biggest hair woe is that I have to fight with my daughter over who gets to use it first!
The Conair Infiniti Pro Spin Air Brush retails for $68.99.
