Information for Fans: Who Will Replace Rosie on The View?

You have probably already heard about Rosie leaving the view this summer after only being on the show for one year. While many people seem overjoyed that when did not survive on the few, there are still some who say they will miss her. There have definitely been a lot of rumors circulating that she is not voluntarily leaving the view. Some fans seem to think that she is being forced out due to her obnoxious behavior. After speaking to several fans of the show I have found that a lot of people don't seem to care either way. If you were to take a poll it would seem that there would be tie between the number of people who want her to stay and the number of people who would love to see her go.

Of curse the current big topic of conversation is who will be the replacement for Rosie on the view? According to the New York Post there seems to be quite a few candidates in the running. One of the first names that seem to catch the Medias eye is Rosanne Barr. Many say that adding her to the show should be just as bad as having Rosie on their. Of course many feel the Rosanne is not nearly as bad as Rosie is when it comes to be vocal about her opinions. Some of the other choices are Joan Rivers, Whoopi Goldberg, and Kathie Lee Gifford. All of the names that have been mentioned are eagerly looking for their next deal. Since no one knows who exactly the view will choose I decided to talk with some fans to see who they would choose as Rosie's replacement.

I read the list of possibilities to each person, and all of them said that Joan Rivers should immediately be taken off the list. I could not find one person who was in favor of her being on the view. Others felt that they should have a contest like the one they had before to find a new co-host. They said that this would definitely help boost ratings back up, and that it would get rid of all the drama that has been associated with Rosie being there. A few people thought that Whoopie Goldberg would be a good addition to the show, but many are considered about the very foul language that she often uses. Of course many fans could not help but mention the very famous Starr Jones, who Rosie was hired to replace. Many feel that they should have just kept her on the show and might be just digging a bigger hole for themselves.
