Information on Junior Tennis Camps

Tennis has been incorporated into camps more and more through the years as programs try to accommodate all kinds of athletes.

At University of North Texas Tennis Camp in Denton, TX kids can learn basic tennis skills June 12-15 and June 19-22 with separate sessions for junior and peewee camps. Hours are 8:45 a.m. for peewee camp and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for junior camp. Ages are 4-6 for peewee and 7-17 for junior. Peewee camp costs $40 and junior is $265.00. Nike has tennis camps which you can find listings of at ussportscamps.com. They have beginner to intermediate, high school, tournament, and ranked tennis player camps. Adult programs are also offered. You get five hours of daily instruction and supervised match play. At the junior day camps each resident camp has a tennis program. Age requirements are 6-17 and full and half-day options are offered. Players will get written evaluations and learn the latest in new skills according to the company. Nike prizes are also awarded.

At 4starcamps.com you'll find a listing of tennis camps for all star players from age 9-18, co-ed. One or multiple week stays are offered. There are also college tennis advantage camps where students can train with coaches.

Carmel Valley Junior Tennis Camp has 52 campers at a time. Located in California the scenery is beautiful woods. Tennis lessons are held at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., and 1:30 p.m. Ages accepted are 11-17. For information call 831-659-2615.

At Brady Tennis Camp for juniors and adults participants get video analysis of their moves to improve their skills and learn fancy footwork like the pros.
