Innovative Scrapbooking Tools in 2010

Zutter Innovative Products has some really awesome products that I foresee to be on many scrappers Christmas lists this year. The first item that I must rave about is the Distrezz-it-All. When I first saw this I thought dang, it's about time and of course, why didn't I think of that. I can't wait to get my hands on this new innovative tool. I can think of a million things I can use this for. As time goes by I am starting to like the distressed and antique look more and more. It just gives your pieces that little extra somethin' somethin'!

The Distrezz-It-All is an adorable little handheld electronic sander or filer. It gives that beautiful shabby chic distressed look to cardstock, chipboard, wood, leather and other materials in seconds. No more stressed hands from filing or sanding down the edges of your album pages, embellishments and other projects. No more sandy messes to clean up. This distressing tool works similar to a pencil sharpener, it sands the edges of your material in seconds and stores the shavings for easy cleanup.

Do not use materials with fibers such as fabric as they can get wound around the distressing blades. The distressing blades allow you to give your projects different looks. Choose from a subtle distressed look to a very prominent distressed look. The more prominent look is a really cool looks that I would image could take a long time to try to do by hand.

Bind-It-All Version 2.0

The Bind-It-All punches and binds materials together to make awesome gifts, artwork, etc. You can punch through cardstock, chipboard, acrylic, clip-board wood, art board among other materials.

There are some really awesome projects you can do with the Bind-It-All:

Make a notebook

Envelop book projects

Recipe card books

Post-it Note holders

Some fabulous gift ideas you can make and give as phenomenal gifts for baby and wedding showers, birthday or Christmas presents. For the mommy-to-be, create a journal for her to record her thoughts about the pregnancy and the babies first year or her first year as a new mommy. A mini notebook would be nice so mommy can jot down milestones and special moments as they happen and use it as a reference later when she is writing in her journal or scrapbooking pictures of that special day. A recipe book would be great for green moms to keep their organic baby food recipes in or for any mom to record their family heirloom recipes. Recipe books make great Christmas gifts especially if you load them up with your favorite recipes. Post-It Note holders make nice teacher gifts. The possibilities are endless...people always need a notebook to write down notes, phone messages and numbers and shopping lists!
