Inside Myself
Self Independence Day Declaration
that once where denied to my own understanding.
I don't need any more walls to hide myself no more.
No need to close the doors anymore, they'll forever remain opened!
Don't need to fake I'm happy since I've found who I am,
I've become the knife out of the spoon,
The executor out of the punished,
The war out of peaceful times,
A noisy voice out of quiet moments,
The fire out of disintegrating sparks!
This is who I am.
If you choose to love me, take me as I am.
I don't want your pity
I don't want more pain
I only want to regain whatever it's left among the ashes
Don't want to die one day knowing I've never tried.
I'm not weak anymore,
And maybe one day, I'll be no longer shy.
So I'm closing my eyes until I see the day
I'll have to close my eyes no more.
I'll be in touch with my feelings again
I'll dream no more.
From that day on, I'll hang on to real goals.
