The 2010 International Consumer Electronics Show is the largest electronics show of the year. Thousands of companies attend to showcase their latest product developments. Each year always delivers a surprise or two. This year's show has a lot of people interested in what the next innovation in television watching will be. Most believe that the top companies will simply showcase advancements to the new LED televisions that hit the market this year. However, I have information that 3-D technology might be the talk of the show.

Consumer electronics manufacturers have been working on the concept of at home 3D viewing for years now. The goal is to create a television that has the same capabilities of the digital equipment found in most movie theaters. The IFA 2009 trade show, held in Berlin, happened to have the first developments of 3D technology on showcase. Most in attendance left the show excited & optimistic about the technology. This is why it was important for the industry leaders to work harder than ever to bring this technology to the market.

The company who plans to introduce the latest version of this technology has asked to remain anonymous. What makes their technology impressive is the fact that the company will use a technology far different from the anaglyph imaging technology that other companies are using. The issue with anaglyph 3D is that it can create errors with your screen. These errors include black dots and image alterations. This is why an updated technology can only make things better.

It appears that the company has found a way to use LCD shutter glasses technology in modern television sets. This is a complex technology that is developed to tap into your vision's senses. A high rapid refresh rate helps split what the left eye and right eye are processing. This allows each eye to receive alternate views. These alternate views end up creating the 3D vision that you want to receive. The neat thing about this technology is that it does not cause graphical errors with your television screen.

There is a good reason to why these companies are working furiously to create this technology. They have noticed that consumers are taking an increased interest in this technology. This is evident by the amount of 3D movies that are currently coming to the market. Also, industry experts feel that the upcoming Avatar movie will cause this market to truly explode. Avatar is supposed to be the next step in 3D movie viewing and will change the way most movies will be made, if successful.

A lot of people believe that the company that will be bringing this updated technology to the Consumer Electronics Show will be Sony. I can tell you with confidence that this is not the company who gave me this information. The upcoming show will be held January 7-10. Consumer Electronics Show. More information is sure to come out within the next few weeks and will help shed a better light on this technology. Make sure to keep coming back to this article for all the latest updates on 3D technology development in home television sets.
