Disney describes the design of the units as your "turn-of-the-century style Saratoga Springs Vacation Home." There are four different unit styles.
Studio: about 350 square feet. This unit has a queen-size bed and a full-size foldout sofa, and can sleep up to 4 people. The kitchenette has a mini-fridge, a microwave, a toaster oven, a coffee maker, four plates, four cups, four glasses, and a whole bunch of plastic dining utensils. The room has a TV and a DVD player. The bathroom is just an ol' regular hotel room bathroom, with no extra amenities. There is a table with two chairs, and a futon. Each unit has a small balcony (the ground floor units have a small porch). A personal note: I stayed in the studio during my visit, and I would strongly suggest that you upgrade if you plan on vacationing with more than one other person. This is basically a bigger hotel room - more than two people would cause a crowd and serious lack of privacy.
One-bedroom villa: about 700 square feet. Disney also recommends occupancy of four for this unit, but as you can tell, it is twice the size of the previously described studio. A master suite with a king-size bed and its own whirlpool tub would provide for added privacy. The foldout sofa in the living room is queen-sized. This unit has a full kitchen, including a stove, a dishwasher, a full size refrigerator, and real silverware. Another upgrade from the studio includes an in-room washer and dryer. Balcony/porch are available with each one-bedroom villa.
Two-bedroom villa: about 1,000 square feet. This unit has all the accommodations of the one-bedroom villa, but with an extra room so it can sleep up to eight people. The second room comes with a choice of two queen-size beds, or a one queen-size bed and one sofa. There is also an extra bathroom in this unit.
Three-bedroom villa: two levels, 2,000 square feet. This is essentially a house. No, really, it is. I stayed in a unit like this a few years ago, at the Old Key West Resort, and can promise you that this is the mother of all vacation villas at Disney. In addition to the accommodations of the two-bedroom villa, this unit has one more extra bedroom. Additionally, the full kitchen extends into a dining room. The master suite (with its own bathroom and a whirlpool tub), the kitchen and the dining room, and the living room are located downstairs. The upstairs includes the two extra rooms and their private bathrooms. This unit can sleep up to 12 people (yes, 12 of your closest family and friends!).
