Inspirations for the Trials and Tribulations of Everyday Living

John 14:1-4

In times of trials and tribulations that seem unbearable, this quote gets me trough them. I've trusted in God and have been rewarded. Knowing Jesus is preparing a place for me in heaven is a source of strength and consolation.

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

Joshua 1:9

When you feel alone and abandoned ... even if you're surrounded by family and friends ... this passage from Joshua reminds me we are never alone. God is always with us.

"Everything is possible for him who believes."

Mark 9:23

You gotta believe ... even going gets tough. We can accomplish everything and anything ... all of the time. We just have to believe in Jesus and relax.

"The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few."

Matthew 9:37

There are times when we all want to give up. We're tired, frustrated, overworked, underpaid and unrecognized or rewarded. It's at times like these we ask "Why me, Lord?" This passage is the answer.

" Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous."

Matthew 5:44-45

When everybody seems to be against you ... and all you can do is want is to get revenge and make their lives more miserable than they're making yours .... it's time to stop and remember that we're all God's children and He loves and cares for us all.
