Inspiring Words for My Five Word Challenge

Judy Kaelin
In response to Tracie Walker's Word Game Challenge, I was reluctant to join in the fun. I am not good at writing poetry and not very clever with quips, but I was compelled to give it a try.

My five words in the order given are: passion, virtue, lantern, glimpse and breeze. I don't know what inspires Tracie's selections but these five words fell right into place in my mind.

Description of words:

Passion: A intense emotion - enthusiasm

Virtue: Moral excellence or goodness

Lantern: A portable case with transparent sides containing a source of light and protection from wind and rain.

Glimpse: To catch sight of briefly or fleetingly.

Breeze: A gentle wind.

These words made me think of a walk in the garden of Eden in the cool of the day. The five words given to me follow as a free verse poem.

Sweet Fragrance

I have a passion for the word of God.

The virtue of which, by the light of His lantern brightens my path and offers me a glimpse of the future.

His breath is sweet fragrance upon the breeze.

I would like to thank Tracie for the Word Game Challenge, it is a fun way to get better acquainted with our friends at Associated Content.
