Instate the Death Penalty Everywhere

It is my opinion that everywhere in this country we need to have the death penalty. Everyone has heard the saying "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth," well this is what i believe in. If someone is convicted of murder, then they should be put to death.

There is no excuse for what they have done and they should be punished severely. However, many people in society think that murderers and convicts do not deserve to die because they are of the human race and they have rights even if they are cold-hearted killers. This is absurd and utterly ridiculous. If the child of someone who is against the death penalty was murdered and the criminal was convicted, I can guarantee that the mother and father of the deceased would want the killer to be sentenced to death.

So many people in this country have too much sympathy for people who deserve none. I really do not see how a person can feel sorry for someone who has just murdered an innocent soul. Even almost every religion has a section in it saying that if a person kills then he should be killed as well. All the Americans who sit at home and cry over some murderer who is going to be killed need to think about how the family of the victim feels. Also about how we are saving the tax payers money since the death penalty is cheaper over time than a life sentence.

You may ask what about the chance of someone being innocent on Death Row? In answer to your question hardly anyone since capital punishment has been used was found innocent. Everyone in America needs to buck up and put away their feelings so that murderers are dealt with in a just way in all fifty states. What have we come to when we cannot even handle a mindless killer in whatever fashion we want? It is unbelievable that people deem capital punishment cruel. As far as I am concerned do whatever you can to torture these convicted murderers, but do not take too long because all of the sympathetic people might protest.

I respect your opinion, however "An eye for an eye makes the whole world go blind". 124 people have been exhonorated on death row, and found innocent. As far as the taxpayers, it's much cheaper to house an inmate for the rest of his natural life, because of the court appeals. It's all a big money game. If you want to learn more about Capital punishment I suggest you access my home page for the link to an educational death penalty site, The Abolishment Movement.
