Conversely, Bayern Munich (under Dutch coach Louis van Gaal) has transformed into a high-octane offense that is capable of putting big numbers on the board. The championship game will be a contest between a strong defensive team and a robust offensive team. The winner of the 2010 Champions League final is likely the one who can execute the game plan better.

The key to Inter Milan winning the Champions League will ultimately come down to whether the team can seize the lead early. Mourinho's crew has repeatedly demonstrated that they are more than capable of protecting a lead when is given one. This was true in their wins against Barcelona and Chelsea.
