Interesting Facts About Tim McGraw
Born Samuel Timothy McGraw in Delhi, Louisiana on May 1, 1967. Tim moved to Nashville in 1989 to begin his music career. Married Faith Hill on October 6, 1996. Tim McGraw and his wife have three children: Audrey who was born on December 6, 2001; Gracie born on May 5, 1997 and Maggie who was born on August 12, 1998. The family currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee and one of their neighbors is fellow country artist, Kenny Chesney. Tim's dad is baseball player Tug McGraw who passed away in 2004.
Tim McGraw's first hit song was titled "Indian Outlaw" and the lyrics of the song received much controversy. Tim's 1995 record "All I Want" featured the hits: " I Like It, I Love It" and "Maybe We Should Sleep On It" that were on the top-ten list. After marrying his wife, Faith Hill, the two got together and recorded a duet titled "It's Your Love" which was a song off of the album "Everywhere". "It's Your Love" was a top-ten hit and stayed on the country billboard charts for six weeks and on.
In 2006, fellow country artist, Taylor Swift recorded a hit song titled, "Tim McGraw".
Tim McGraw has even been featured in a few films: "Friday Night Lights" in 2004 and "Flicka" in 2006.
