A Child's Space is the brainchild of Jim and Maureen McIntosh, a full time firefighter and nurse respectively, who started doing rooms for their friends to help escape the stress of their jobs. Word of their great work got out very quickly and this dedicated husband and wife team found themselves very much in demand. They take almost all of the hassle of decorating out of the hands of the parents and with a little bit of input turn the blandest space into a customized room that every kid will love.
Parents get to choose the colors, theme (there are tons to choose from, both boy and girl appropriate), and style and then Jim and Maureen work their magic and take care of the rest. There are three different options to choose from depending on what you need and where you are located.
Option 1 : For residents in the metro Atlanta area you can receive a free on-site consult, whether you are just looking for a little touch-up or a full room redesign which would include painting the walls with a mural or pattern, decorating existing furniture, creating storage space and adding a whole host of matching accessories for a total themed room.
Option 2: "Room in a Box" - A great idea for the do-it-yourself type or for those that live out of the area. You can order a beautiful wooden box filled with all the accessories you'll need to decorate the room yourself. The box includes everything from curtains, to rugs, lamps, and much, much more all fully customized to your specific needs and all the items can be monogrammed or have your child's full name on there too.
Option 3: Accessories - Just about anything you can think of can be customized to fit your needs. Baskets, pillows, blankets, lamps, and rugs are just a few of the limitless items that Jim and Maureen can conjure up for you.
