External forces that lay in the path of the common mans struggle to provide for the family unit or basic needs within the lifestyle the individual has derived sustanence remain as obstacles to the persons percieved happiness. Social confines are divided by gender, race, academics, combined to the common bind of patriarchial values instilled by WASP philosophy.
Inherent discourses toward what may or may not be achieved by an individual within this fast paced competition driven society become the determining factor of how far this may carry over into the daily life of this group of people as defined by class structures.
Power by the middle class or lower classes do not have the means to propagate necessary action that may lead to a larger piece of the world for them. They want more as society dictates but are powerless to achieve by the system they have become forced to subsist within. The factors of negation and voices within a democratic society are known to ALL by the obvious squalor of which is apparent through the eyes of those who may try to improve the condition of such groups.
A single woman with multiple children and NO support from family has very little to look for from any government institution as far as social well being. This individual will be forced into a lifestyle common to hand and foot living arrangements day to day. Her options in employment revolve around the matriarchical confines of caring for children. The children meanwhile will be subject to less then par educational systems designed to leave them behind according to the social class position of which they emerge from.
A minority male in the competative society faces much the same areas of failure from institutions that are only obligated to the individual by what can be produced or absconded from this person A feeling of worthlessness can be attacted to the lives of both these groups of people.
As Capitalism exacts its toll on the society dominated by the vices of profit and relative personal comfort; the women and minority peoples remain unable to make the next step UP in what is viewed to improve comfort and lifestyle.
Failures in education become the primary elements of what holds this class of people at the bottom. This educational system remains influx district to district within such societies. Areas where the texa base is eroded or rurally controlled the individual recieves an education which maybe in fact substandard. This can be seen within the fiscal operating budgets of such districts as to how they afford faculty to staff such learning institutions.
Rural districts cannot afford the same quality of teachers which reside within urban or densely populated cities where the tax base is much higher and access to public services readily avalible.
Therefore it is up to the individual to provide their own ideals on education. As social conditins may dictate the future of the farmers son who wishes to become a lawyer; This person may or may not realise that specific desire due to the fact they do NOT have the same footing when approaching insititutions of higher learning. They come to the university or college without skills given in the public school systems found in areas of middleclass urban environments.
