To a soon to be Jedi
He rescued in the sand
When Star Wars came out
It just blew us away
An action packed movie
From a Galaxy far far away
This was a huge leap forward
In nineteen seventy-seven
For those space fans among us
We were in Sci-fi heaven
Darth Vader was scary,
Princess Leia was hot
Luke Skywalker was her brother
What a complicated plot
Add a Wookie, Han Solo
C3PO and R2D2
And here you have the formula
For a rebel leading crew
A play on words is fun to do

Post a CommentTime to dig out the DVD's and relive memories of my first month of living in London. Star Wars came out at the same time, and it was awesome.
I know its a year after, but now in 2011 STAR WARS DAY IS NEXT WEEK!

I haven't read Buck Rogers, but I liked the series they did on television, must have been a good 25 years ago now.
Very good! I've been a Science Fiction fan since I read Buck Rogers at age ten!
