Internet Dating: Watch for the Scammers

Shadeezy
This article is all about internet dating and what to look out for as far as romance scammers go. I have actually had quite some experience with this topic first hand, and I can even recommend a few websites that I had the best of luck with, as well as websites that have actual romance scammers posted so that you know what to look out for.

There are many different kind of websites out there for someone that is interested in looking for love from the cutting edge technological point of view, but one question that arises to many new-comers of the online dating experience is "Where is a good place to meet actual people?" There are quite a few ways to go about this kind of question. One option, is to go to the live chat rooms. This is one option that I personally would not recommend. Mostly, because I have tried this and everyone I talked to in the chat rooms ended up being either far too old for my taste, or far too young. The thing about chatrooms is that most people you meet on there are people who aren't looking for a real relationship, they are there strictly to have fun or chat about topics that don't really matter. The thing you must remember is that in a chatroom, people are there to get their kicks, whether it ends in heartache for you or not. Therefore, I cannot recommend any good chatrooms for you. However, if you are determined to find out if my information is true or not for yourself, I would recommend that you google chatrooms in the search bar.

If it is real romance you are looking for, I can recommend quite a few websites from my own personal experience. A few good ones that I know of include www.singlesnet.com, www.chemistry.com, and even www.allsinglesmeet.com is one that I have been fortunate with. However, on singlesnet, you are not able to email everyone unless they email you first. You can however send a flirt message to anyone you like. There are a few websites that you must pay for in order to respond at all that I would recommend as well. Such websites include, but are not limited to, www.true.com, www.match.com, and even www.great-expectations.com. And for all you lonely parents looking for a partner, there is a website specifically for you called www.singleparentmeet.com that will even let you try it out for free. There is also one that is pretty popular that I wouldn't recommend simply because when I filled out their profile information that they needed, they sent me an e-mail stating that I was down to earth, realistic, etc. Sounds great right? The next thing that they told me was that they couldn't help me because there were no profiles that fit mine. You may have heard of them through their commercial advertisements. The name of that site is www.Eharmony.com. You may want to try it, but it didn't work for me. But thats an article for another day.

Now many others of you may be asking "How do I watch out for Romance Scammers?". The answer is a little more difficult than one would think. Most of the romance scammers that I have come across are from different countries, and for that, there is a website. Most are listed and don't even realize it, while others have yet to be caught. But never fear, new scammers are caught all the time and posted as soon as they are to help prevent them from scamming anyone else. The best one I have found/been to so far is www.romancescam.com. They have pictures that the scammers have used, as well as names and e-mail addresses. They also offer survival kits and chat forums, so you can always find out more information about something. Every other way to avoid any kind of scam while dating online is all pretty much avoided with general common sense.

So thats the end of my online dating article. I hope that it helped give you a little incite to the online dating worlds' "do's" and "do not's". If you have any further questions or comments, please feel free to post a comment on my article and I would be more than happy to get back to you. Thanks for reading.
