Internet Explorer 7 Review

Internet Explorer 7 has some major issues, and I own a website and use a stat counter and I've noticed many people switching to Mozilla's FireFox because of serious issues with Internet Explorer 7. Internet Explorer 7 seems to freeze up a lot and doesn't respond, it also seems like it is easily hacked and among other things it is slower then the other browsers out there on the market. Internet Explorer 7 has come under heavy fire since it's release and major issues have sprung up with this browser.

You would think that Microsoft would have put out a better browser with Windows Vista, which has received much criticism by the way as well. A lot of the criticism aimed at Vista is amplified because Internet Explorer has been preforming so badly, with serious problems in its software. I was shocked and appalled at how bad this browser was after using Internet Explorer for many years and loving it. I always thought Internet Explorer was the premiere browser until this release, and now I have am using Mozilla's FireFox which I am currently using right now as I write this article.

One major problem I had is that the tabs tend to freeze and then you can't click on them. In addition to this there are frequent crashes for me after only a few hours of use. I tried doing everything I could, like searching for updates and stuff for Internet Explorer 7 and Microsoft's updates don not seem to improve the performance at all.

Internet Explorer 7 has me fearing for Internet Explorer 8 which is due out relatively shortly with the release of Windows 7 coming this fall. Internet Explorer has been the pinnacle of web browsing, and Windows has been the pinnacle of operating systems, but their last release has many people wondering. Internet Explorer 6 was a personal favorite of mine that I used for many years on Windows XP. I actually prefer Windows XP and Internet Explorer 6 to Windows Vista and Internet Explorer 7 simply because the earlier versions work better then Vista and Internet Explorer 7. Internet Explorer 7 and Vista have nearly ruined Microsoft's reputation.

In conclusion, Internet Explorer 7 is full of bugs, and freezes a lot and has many people using Mozilla's FireFox. FireFox is fast becoming the premiere browser for Windows PC users, hopefully this makes Microsoft step up its game and package a decent web browser with its software.
