These companies will claim to have quality authentic product such as name brand goods. Usually the payment for the goods is asked for with a Western Union or bank transfer. After the payment is received the emails and the webpage will disappear and never to hear from them again. Once the money has been sent there is nothing you can do to obtain it back. How are these people able to scam a person of there money and not be prosecuted? Why are these sites not monitored or taken down?
The best thing to look out for is free webpage accounts and email addresses. It is most likely that if a company is genuine they will not use a hotmail account for business mail. Never pay with Western union or bank transfer if a company do not offer credit card transitions then they are a scam. Since receiving those payment will leave a paper trail and easily to track down. Remember the saying if it is to good to be true then it probably is. Many authentic products even if obtained from a legitimate wholesale company will not be half off the original price. Usually wholesale products are 10-20% off the retail price. The advertisement for getting these products for 70% off the retail price is a total scam.
Here are some sites well known to be scams. However, these sites have been up for years. These sites promise authentic products for an excellent price. They claim that all company is registered importers and exporters. Even if you would receive a product they will be counterfeits. These companies are constantly scamming hard working people around the world.

I would highly recommend finding a genuine American wholesaler. Therefore if it does turn out to be a scam your chances to prosecute the individual will be greater. Never purchase from a company that is not registered. Never pay with bank transfer or Western union. Try to negotiate the price very low and if they accept they are a scam. Remember there are thousand of scam artist on the internet trying their best to confuse you into sending them money.

Post a CommentI had a horrible experience recently with an Internet Scam Artist / Predator and have written many articles about what I went through. I'm presently working on a indepth piece which I interviewed him for. It describes what motivates him to do this to women and leave wreckage in his wake, as well as how he does it and how he got his start.

Excellent advice!
Get this--someone tried to order from my online AVON store and wanted me to give them all my info instead of paying by the usual credit card and have the items shipped to them. I got the usual, "I don't have a credit card yet as I have just moved here." I simply forward all of this stuff to spam@uce.gov.
