Internet Social Networking Articles

Guy Siverson
There are many ways to draw Internet traffic to your offerings on the Web today.

• SEO also known as "search engine optimization" is a more traditional approach.
• Internet Social Networking through sites like Twitter and LinkedIn.
• Content creation via articles, videos, audios, graphics or what have you.

Done right, all are extremely viable ways of driving traffic to your offerings on the Web today. Even better if you can combine two concepts like social networking and article marketing to arrive at "social networking articles."

To be honest, this is one of my most powerful methods of link building that I use today. It takes time, no question about that. But if you stick to a committed plan it works quite well.

Two free services that help to make this easier for my are.

• OnlyWire.com
• Ping.FM

OnlyWire is my automated entrance into the world of social bookmarking. While I've never fully jumped into this part of the world, using OnlyWire I do get more links pointed my way.

The sites I am particularly interested in getting links from include...

• Delicious
• Digg
• StumbleUpon

All are free, and all have an excellent Google PR rating that I want to point toward my healthy chocolates Website.

While OnlyWire handles the social bookmarking part of the equation Ping.FM does a great job with blog connections particularly as it relates to...

• Blogger
• WordPress
• Hi5
• LiveJournal
• Radar
• Multiply
• Tumblr
• Vox

Which all allow me to post blog articles on their sites. Once this is done I then do a status update with the other connections from Ping.FM for even greater shared link love.

It's important to note that links don't always mean instant traffic results, but they do mean increased love from the search engines including Google, which is huge for anyone serious about making a difference on the Web today.

Here's a tip that most people miss.

If I point all this link juice toward any of the three following sites I can gain instant income from the results without risking my own Website getting into trouble.

• HubPages
• Associated Content
• Squidoo

Even better, I can then point these high page rank sites toward my own project and gain some very powerful link juice from them as a result.

But I don't stop there.

I also share these links from these sources that pay me for traffic with all my friends on social networks like...

• Twitter (My favorite.)
• LinkedIn (Good for business.)
• FaceBook (To crowded for my own liking.)

And that is how I personally merge the worlds of social networking articles with that of Internet social networking to produce powerful results for my own offerings.

Question is, what have I missed?

I'd be glad to hear your own secrets to success on the Web today.
