My favorite points site of all would have to be MyPoints.com. You can shop from participating merchants to earn a lot of points on MyPoints. You can visit websites to earn points. You can join in on the contests that they have throughout the year in order to win more points. My favorite way to earn points from MyPoints is to receive emails from them. The emails contain a link for you to visit a website and earn 5 points. I get several emails a day from MyPoints. Compared to many points sites, they have a fairly small required points amount in order to redeem for a prize and you can earn those points very quickly. My favorite item to redeem my points for are the $10 Webcertificate. Which only requires 1500 points.
The next points website that I like to use is RewardTV.com. On this website you mainly take surveys about the television shows that you watch daily. Each day this site will have new surveys available on the television shows form the night before. You can take five tv quizzes a day. This site also has other general surveys that you can participate in for more points. Their amount of points needed to redeem is pretty high, but you can make several thousands of points on the surveys each day. With RewardTV, you can only redeem for gift cards when they have them available. The have new gift cards available about once or twice a week. The gift cards are in a limited quantity so you would have to be fast to cash in for the one you want. This site also has "auctions" for prizes but these go pretty high in points so I usually just stay away from that. I do know that this site pays out because I have cashed points in before on a one year subscription to TV Guide.
These next two points sites I will speak of together because they are so similar. One is CreationRewards.net and the other is ClickToTheMagic.com. These two I have redeemed points on but it takes a long time to earn enough points to actually redeem. These two do send the occassional email for you to earn points on but no where near as many as MyPoints.com sends daily. You earn points on these two sites by shopping through participating merchants, visiting websites and doing daily trivia and contests. These two sites don't have many sites to visit where you can earn points, therefore it takes longer to earn enough points to redeem for anything.
Now I would like to talk about the survey sites that I enjoy. Many survey sites online claim to pay you for doing surveys but they either won't pay or they have a very high amount you have to earn before they pay out. Here are my top three favorite survey sites. I earn money from these three on a regular basis and I don't have to worry about earning those huge amounts before I get paid.
My all time favorite survey site is PineConeResearch.com. This website is very hard to become a member of. You actually just have to be on the right website at the right time in order to sign up with Pinecone. This site only recruites new members by two ways. One is by telling current members that the site is looking for particular group of people and that the current members can invite new people for this group. For example, recently they were looking for a younger age group that my sister fit into. So I invited her and she signed up quickly. Another way that Pinecone allows new members is by banner advertisment. If you are on a website and you see a banner blinking for Pinecone then you better click it immediately. You will never know where the banner will be or what site it will be on. Pinecone is VERY strict about not allowing their members to tell people where these banners are if you come across one. If they find out that you are telling other people about where these banners are located then you run the risk of having your account cancelled. Pinecone is great about sending out a lot of surveys for you to take. You get paid very quickly, by check, once you complete each survey. This is definitely a company you will want to sign up with if you ever get the chance.
My next favorite survey site that pays out is TestSpin.com. This site is simple. You sign up and they send you emails when there are surveys available. Each survey will be worth a certain dollar amount. You then must take a short survey to see if you qualify for the main survey. If you qualify then you take the survey and you will get the dollar amount put into your TestSpin account. Once your account reaches $10 you can cash it out for an Amazon.com gift certificate. From my experience with their redeemptions, these gift certificates arrive in your email box within a matter of minutes. I have received many of these gift certificates and since I love shopping at Amazon, it all works out great for me.
The last survey site that I know personally will pay out is Buzzback.com. This is another simple survey site. You just sign up and wait for them to send you emails about available surveys. This site doesn't send out as many email invitations as the other sites do. When you do receive an email invitations and take the survey, you are then sent a check in the mail just like with Pinecone. It's very easy money but not as much as you make on the other sites.
While I am sure that there are many legitimate survey and point websites out there, these are just the ones that I personally know, use and make money from. I'm always up for finding out about new sites though. I hope these site suggestions will be helpful to you.
