Interview with a 9/11 Conspiracy Theorist, a Respected Kansas City Dentist
The Twin Towers Came Down by Controlled Demolition
Before this, I had my own skepticism regarding the events of 9/11 to a much smaller degree than Dr. Kendrick. Most of my questions about 9/11 had arisen after seeing the Michael Moore documentary "Fahrenheit 9/11." At the very least, I questioned the hesitation at the hands of our government to form the 9/11 Commission, the not-surprised response from President George W. Bush as he was informed of the events as he sat in an elementary school classroom, and the reasons for war in Iraq when the supposed mastermind behind 9/11, Osama bin Laden, remains at large.
My questions extended to the shaky belief that our government may have known more about the possibility of what would happen on 9/11 than they had previously let on. However, sitting in Dr. Kendrick's office in Kansas City on a rainy Wednesday afternoon, I learned that the "truth movement" extends further than I would have ever thought possible. The 9/11 truth movement includes respected journalists, celebrities, and doctors like Kendrick, helping to lend credibility to what would commonly be referred to as an outrageous conspiracy theory.
The 9/11 "truthers," as they call themselves, believe that the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center were brought down on Sept. 11, 2001 not by hijacked airplanes from Al Qaeda but by controlled demolition, or carefully planned explosives placed at strategic locations within the buildings. The truthers say that the government perpetrated this heinous event in order to justify war.
"This is so important that my personal safety and my life will be at risk while I get this message out," said Dr. Kendrick. "This is the most important issue of our time."
I have to agree with Kendrick there, as 9/11 caused a chain of events that have led us to the current situation in Iraq and the suspension of American civil liberties at the hands of the USA Patriot Act and the Military Commissions Act. If the truth movement holds any credibility, it could open the door to something most Americans would never think of, or ever want to think of.
While visiting with Dr. Kendrick, he showed me some power point presentations apparently containing "proof" of the 9/11 conspiracy. One part of the presentation included a comparison between the falling of World Trade Center 7, the third building to collapse on 9/11, and a building being brought down by controlled demolition. Most Americans, he told me, are ignorant of the fact that three buildings came down on 9/11.
The World Trade Center 7 building and the other building being brought down by controlled demolition fell exactly the same way in the video presentation, straight down. The truthers say the proof lies in the "squibs" (a controlled demolition term), which are actually puffs of smoke coming from the building at neat, controlled intervals. These "squibs" can be seen coming from the Twin Towers as they fell on 9/11, at least according to the videos Dr. Kendrick showed me. I must admit that looking at the puffs of smoke coming from the sides of the World Trade Center from at least 20 floors below the fires and smoke from the plane collisions was disarming.
Dr. Kendrick spoke mechanically, as if he had spoken these same words hundreds of times before. He said he could go on about the 9/11 truth movement for hours, if I so indulged him. I didn't have that kind of time. Listening to a respected, highly intelligent man like Dr. Kendrick tell of such horror at the hands of my own government made me uncomfortable, to say it politely. I was there on 9/11, just 20 miles away from the World Trade Center, attending school at a small teacher's college across the Hudson River in Jersey City. The events of that day have been forever imprinted in my mind.
Bottom line: do your own research about the 9/11 truth movement and other theories about what occurred that fateful day in September 2001. If you're able to analyze all of the information available and make up your mind about what you believe happened, then you are one step ahead of me. Questions surround the events of 9/11 and I have yet to wrap my head around it.
I will leave you with one thought. Dr. Kendrick would have received a lot more support from me and appeared much more credible about his 9/11 conspiracy theory had he not suggested that President Bush be "injected with truth serum and debriefed."
Maybe he's watched too many movies.

Post a CommentOh and by the way, despite there being so many witnesses in and outside of the building recalling an explosion in the lower level before the plane hit, they were never included in the official report that was released. Hmmm...it sure makes you wonder, doesn't it?
Many of you are relying on mainstream media as your only source on the 9/11 attacks. Why don't you get real information from people who actually witnessed the towers falling? Get evidence from the ones who were actually in the building. For example, there were over 100 reports from people in the building claiming that there were explosions in the BASEMENT LEVEL before the plane even hit. Not to mention, there was one man who witnessed another man run up from the basement, skin hanging off of his body, screaming that there was an explosion. After that, the plane hit the tower. Read real evidence from REAL witnesses. Are you going to stare an eyewitness who was in the building at the time of the attacks in the face and call them a liar? No, my friend, you will not. There are too many witnesses who KNOW these acts came from within based on their evidence alone. http://www.patriotsquestion911.com
Planes Did Not Crash Into the WTC Towers on 9/11
Contrary to NIST and the US Government, there is overwhelming evidence to conclude that the planes seen on TV were the result of SFX special effects (TV fakery).
Many try to suppress this obvious fact, but to exclude other theories out of hand w/o examination is not only disingenuous, it's simply denial (a defense mechanism) and only results in a misinformed, skewed opinion.

There were no planes entering the WTC Towers on 911. Perhaps all the related films about 911 produced before and since were made to condition the public into acceptance of the official "planes" fantasy. Any discussion of planes on 911, passengers, hijackers, etc. all continue to help keep the fantasy alive.
Believing the government's fairytale of planes colliding with the Towers is the main problem w/ fully understandin
No, the similiarities are much more theoretical, based on characteristics of the military, government, media, etc., based on a study by Dr. Lawrence Britt (whom I have to research--never heard of him). I plan on publishing a story about it soon. Stay tuned!
Was one of the points of similarity between Bush and the Nazis support and friendship to Isreal?
Apparently, Dr. Kendrick is not familiar with real demolition. This would require putting shaped charges on almost all of the main structural supports. These shaped charges would be quite large and I'm not sure how you could do this without tearing out part of the interior; the structural beams are not exposed inside the building. It would have taken weeks per building to set the charges. Who exactly would the government get to do this? Also, if it were a conspiracy, attacking one building would have been enough.
LOL- This was pretty funny... wow! This guy is really out there. It is sad that there are really ignorant people out there like this- it is kinda sad too. I hope his doctor puts him back on his meds soon. :)
Gee, another concept of litte "squibbs" let's see? miniture backdrafts from fire and oxygen? The fact that gases produced from the fire had to escape somehow. Maybe I've been watching too much CSI. It amazes me what "educated" people will believe.
Lol...the title was meant to be that way, to show that even highly educated people who are well respected within the Kansas City community believe this stuff. It's funny that you mention Hitler...in addition to the three DVDs he gave me, he gave me a flyer with 14 points of similarity between Bush and the Nazis.
The article title gave me a chuckle. "...Says Respected Kansas City Dentist," seemed anti-climactic. I guess everyone is entitled to an opinion. Perhaps Dr. K should get a hobby like stamp collecting or lithium ingestion to pass his time. Maybe he already has a hobby like NO2 inhalation to help him with this theory. Seriously, even Hitler didn't burn down the Reichstag with 3,000 people in it.
